What Is An Executor/Executrix (Or Personal Representative)?

Coleman Law Firm

Video Transcript:  An Executor is the same as a Personal Representative. The term, Executrix, was used in the past as the female form of Executor. In Florida, we now use the term Personal Representative. That’s the person who is designated, under the will, and subsequently after the death appointed by the court, to handle things in the probate. They’re the person that’s in charge working with their Florida lawyer.
