An ‘executor’, or ‘personal representative’ as we call them here in Florida, is certainly entitled to be paid for the services that they provided. These services are established by the court and the fees can likewise be established by the court. There are basic guidelines under Florida law that establish what types of fees can be charged and under what circumstances they are paid.
