Coleman Law Firm

Attorney Jeffrey P. Coleman answers the question of whether someone can donate their money or possessions to a charity using their will.

Video Transcript:

It’s important for you to know that you can certainly leave money to a charity under the terms of your will. This can be described as a specific bequest. In other words, a specific amount of money that you want going to the charity prior to distribution to the remaining beneficiaries; or you can include a charity as part of your remaining beneficiaries on a percentage of your estate basis.
