What Should I Do If My Broker Does Not Do What I Asked Them To Do?

Video Transcript:  You know, one of the most basic things that you’re paying your broker to do, is to enter a trade when you ask him or her to do it; to buy or sell the stock or bond when you tell him to do it.  If they don’t, it doesn’t mean that it’s necessarily an issue of fraud or anything like that; it’s just negligence and the firm should be responsible.  In fact, many of these firms never see the light of day in law offices that work in the securities industry because the broker-dealer firm will come forward and take care of it when there’s been a simple issue of negligence.
